Ladybird Farm is excited to offer our first workshop this Spring! Check back throughout the season for additional offerings.
Starting a Garden the Right Way
Thinking about starting a garden? Frustrated with how your first one went? Feel that gardening is just too much work? Join Ladybird Farm for a workshop on getting started or improving your garden and learning what it takes to build a resilient garden
This workshop is about what actually matters in the beginning.
Weโll walk through a newly established garden site and talk about:
- How to approach your first year realistically
- What to focus on (and what not to rush)
- Common early mistakes and how to avoid them
- How to set your garden up to improve each season
This isnโt about perfection or high yields right away.
Itโs about building something that works long term.
Whether youโre brand new or have a few seasons behind you and want a reset, this workshop will give you a clearer way forward.
What to Expect
Weโll spend about two hours walking the site, discussing design decisions, priorities, and answering questions. The space is in its early stages of development, which makes it the perfect place to talk about beginnings.
Group size is limited to 15 people to keep the conversation open and manageable.
Cost: $75
Date: Sunday, April 19th, 2026
Time: 11:00am-1:00pm
Location details provided upon registration.
